MONKEY SOL was founded by the artist "R.A.C" (X / Twitter: @racmoneysymbol) as a digital art project and released as NFTs on the Solana blockchain in December 2023. The NFT collection consists of 2,222 cool monkey characters with over 120 unique traits and is available for purchase via the secondary market (buy here).

After the art attracted significant interest from the Web3 / NFT community, MONKEY SOL evolved into a community-driven project with continued support from the founding artist. While art and community remain our key areas of focus, we are exploring various creative and entrepreneurial ways to leverage the art's full IP rights as well as to transform MONKEY SOL into a leading lifestyle and cultural brand.
